Located in beautiful rural West Virginia, Cooper's Rock Mountain Lion
Sanctuary provides a lifelong home to 4 cougars, Burton, Mariah, Montana,
Tecumseh and 1 bobcat, Jackson. These cats started life in unfortunate circumstances and
can not be released into the wild due to their association with humans.
As cubs mountain lions are as cute and cuddly as any baby, but they soon
grow into their wild nature. Large and predatory, their nature is unsuitable
for a pet. Plus most people have no idea how to feed or care for these
large animals, requiring up to 7 pounds of raw meat daily.
Directors Mark and Sheila Jenkins have provided a permanent safe haven
for these cats, giving them the best care mentally and physically that
humans can provide, but they need your help to continue caring for these
majestic animals. I am offering signed prints for sale of the lions, 30%
of the proceeds are donated to Cooper's Rock Mountain Lion Sanctuary.
You may also donate directly to them and learn more by visiting
their website
here.
